What a awesome week. And man did God use us in a mighty way in Nashville. I am amazed at how God was at work in you guys. So now that you are home what will you do.

Day 5

Today was the last day for the students to go on site and it was hard for alot of our students having to say goodbye to the kids and those they have been ministering too. I stand amazed at how God is at work in the lives of the students. In Heather S. group the students in her track time who are from all other churches said that they can tell who the Westmeade Students from all the other groups. They also told Heather that it is awesome to see a group that is like family and a group who seeks the Lord continuously.

We were able to give our mission offering tonight it was a little over 300 dollars. This mission offering will go to help those in Roma, and Canada. Also there was a story told about a family in Roma who have lost a child with a disease of the lungs they also have a son named Zacariah who has this same disease he is about one and they have to pump the fluid of his lungs. Tonight the 600 campers put a Z on our hands and lifted him up to prayer. This has been done through out the summer so that means 86,000 campers have prayed for little Zachariah. Mfuge will send pictures of the 86,000 to be a encouragement.


Mega Relay






This is the grand finale of camp to end it with a little fun. They are all kinds of crazy games where all the tracks compete. They students paint there faces and it is a fun time.
One of our students teams won the Mega Relay.

Thank you for your prayers this week they are felt. I prayed that our students would be broken and for them to be Jesus to the city of Nashville. I thank God for answered prayers.

Day 4

Well today started off great. I went back to the kids center. I found out that this center was founded in 1956 by a pastor who wanted to keep kids off the streets and out of trouble. There is a plaque that tells the story. As I read the plaque and saw all the kids running around in the center, I thought the pastor should be proud because that vision he saw for a kids center was from God and kids are hearing who Jesus is.

I had a chance to talk to four young guys. Mario, Darius, and the two others I can not remember there name. I took them through the way of salvation and Darius Said he believed already but needed to be in church more. Darius is in the 9th grade and he wants to play football pray for him as his single mother raises him and his little brother.Well the other three guys accepted Christ!!!!!! I give HIM praise.. The one that stuck out to me the most was Mario I ask him if He knew about a place called Hell and I compared it to the scariest place he could thank of, Mario told me that the scariest place was every night at his home because his big brother beats him. This just broke my heart to hear this and I encouraged him to tell a counselor please pray for Mario as he is a new child of God.Tyler B.shared about how he shared Christ with a guy named Jerry and Tyler led Jerry to the Lord yesterday.

We had a blast and Mallory had a awesome Birthday. It was good to see loved ones come up and hang out with us. Boy was it good.

Church group devotions
This was a incredible time, I have never in the time I have known Christ experienced anything like what happened last night. The invitation was extended to our group time. I saw students confessing to one another and mending broken relationships with one another. I saw revival take place in the hearts of our students and I know God is about to do a amazing thing through each and every one of them. Tyler Hogan surrendered to full time missions, Joel gave his life to Christ, Rachel rededicated her life to Christ!!!!!!!! Praise !!!!!!!
I saw Jessica break down last night I have never seen a person cry as she did , as she cried out to God confessing her sin a beautiful picture of true repentance. My prayer at the beginning of the week was to break and strip down our students to the point of restoration and God did just that last night. After 1:00 in the morning we departed and praised God for what HE did last night. I stand in Awe of God this morning as I write this, wishing there were words to describe what He has done in the life of our students.

Third Day

Well today was awesome again. It all started off with a little prank. Tyler M. decided to silly string my room on the first night we were here, so you know what that means PAYBACK.





After that the Day was a incredible day of serving and making God known. God is breaking down our students and I praise Him for that. In the social ministry, the students packed over 1,000 supply boxes and gave out. Also Hillary one of our students gave forty dollars to buy the exact number of meals needed. The meals are only 1.92 a plate and that really made some of the students thank about how little it can take to help others.

Church Group Devotions are just a amazing time for the group. Tonight Heather Garner gave her life to Christ tonight!!!!!!!!! Tonight we prayed for one another and students were just broken. I have seen students poor their hearts out and break out in tears crying for their Lord.

Courtney was able to go to a woman's homeless mother's ministry center. She told us that this was a blessing because her being a single mother was a awesome chance to minister to those that are facing being a single. Courtney told us that she meet a lady at the center who was addicted to crack and she told her that the only thing keeping her here was her kids. Courtney told us that she understood exactly, because Braxton is that same motivation in her life. This just blessed the whole group's heart, Courtney told us all this in tears. It was a encouragement to our students because she stood up and was just real with the group.

I am just in awe at our group, you can just see a sweet spirit in our students. I am a proud youth minister. Our group is growing closer together as we grow closer to our Lord.

Second Day

Today was a awesome day. Today was the first day that the students were able to to their track times. I was able to go to the games and rec track. At my track time we worked with kids in a day camp. At the camp we were able to play basketball, parachute games, and swim. Four of our students are in the peer track time and today their group went to a youth juvenile center. The group played some softball. They said it was tough getting conversation started and a lot of them were not as welcoming. By the end of the day the guys from the juvenille center opened up to our students. One of the guys even drew Bri some pics.


Worship was a incredible time. During worship we were reminded that God is Lord and He reigns. Just after the worship songs were over I thank they could have given the invitation right then. After Worship we had our church group devotion time and man is God at work in our students already. We had a time of prayer for about twenty of our students. Tonight we laughed and cried as we see God at work.
